Scenario 1: Add new column in open item
With T Code- F-03, how you can add a new column in an open item clear transaction? Presently, you have document number, document date, type and posting key, and amount. You require adding a posting key and amounting in the transaction field on the screen.
SAP FICO Scenario Solution:
Use T Code-F-03, from the menu bar, goes to G/L account process open item screen
- Choose setting and change line layout
- Then choose line layout a name and description and select enter
- After the button for viewing the available field, select insert.
- Choose the required field by double click on the field. This needed field is automatically listed under own layout
- Repeat the process for each field need to create the layout and save.
- Go back to clear G/L account process open item screen and choose editing option button underline layout variant for G/L A/C clearing transaction
- Give variant name and save
Scenario 2: SAP Purchase Order
The client raised a PO at USD 15 for 60 quantities. At that price, a goods receipt MIGO transaction is done. Now, the client wants to do MIRO transaction at USD 16 for 60 quantities.

Difference of Price: You have the choice to post a price difference, at the time of the MIRO transaction. Enter G/L account for price difference and amount in the MIRO transaction.
Reverse MIGO and repost MIGO with the right price: reverse the entry of MIGO, make changes in PO (Purchase order) then once again do transaction of MIGO and MIRO.
